The varsity boys' basketball team won the TSSAA Middle Region consolation game against Christ Presbyterian Academy, 77-65, on Feb. 22 and is headed to the first round of the state tournament. 

Jordan Jenkins was named to the TSSAA Middle Region All-Tournament team.

The first-round game of the TSSAA Division II-A State Tournament will  pit Webb against Tipton-Rosemark (near Memphis) on Feb. 26 with a 6:30 p.m. tipoff. With a win Wednesday, the team will head to the quarterfinal game against Knoxville Webb on Saturday, February 29, at Knox Webb with the tipoff time to be determined. The semifinal and final of the TSSAA Division II-A State Tournament are then played at Lipscomb University in Nashville on March 5 and March 7, respectively.

In the Feb. 22 game at Battle Ground Academy versus CPA, J.J. Platt led all scorers in the game with 30 points followed by Jenkins with 22. Alex Garrett scored 16 points, Amos Howard 6, Shawn McKenzie 2 and Junior Chambers 1. Jenkins was named to the TSSAA Middle Region All-Tournament team.
