International students and their families participated in a special orientation day on Aug. 9 in advance of the Aug. 10 orientation for all new students and their families.
The families had lunch hosted on campus at the home of Ray and Leone Broadhead on campus. They also visited with and received information from representatives of various Webb departments including: academics, business office, residential life, English Language Learner program and Dean of Students.
Saturday’s orientation for all new boarding and day students and their families will include additional presentations and meetings, class schedule tours, lunch and a time for each student and his or her parents to meet the student’s advisor. A Welcome Address by the head of school will complete the orientation.
Classes begin Aug. 12 with a special schedule for the first day that begins with chapel.
