Director of Athletics gives tournament updates

A message from Director of Athletics Scott Dorsett:

Webb Community,

The excitement is building as we continue to move forward in both the Middle School and Upper School basketball tournaments. We are so very proud of our Middle School girls' team and their continued improvement throughout the season. The girls lost a hard-fought battle at Lighthouse Christian School in their quarterfinal game and have now completed their season. The Middle School boys' team won the game against Highland Rim Academy last night (Feb. 7) to move on to tonight's semifinal game against Christian Community School. We will be hosting the semifinal and Championship games of the Middle School tournament at Barton Athletic Center. We will have games on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday games will run from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Our Middle School boys' team plays tonight in the semifinals against Community Christian School at 7:00 p.m. Just a reminder that admission is $5.00 for everyone, as this is an event sponsored by the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference.

Christ Presbyterian Academy will be hosting the semifinal and Championship games of the TSSAA District II-A Middle Region District tournament for our Varsity Boys' Basketball team. Tonight (Feb. 8), we play in the semifinal game against Battle Ground Academy with tipoff at 5:30 p.m. When we win this semifinal game :), we will play in the District Championship game on Saturday at 8:30 p.m., again being held at Christ Presbyterian Academy. The admission for everyone is $5.00

Please come out and support both of these teams in their quest to win a championship!
