Founded in 1870, The Webb School is a private boarding school in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Students from grades 6 - 12 come seeking college preparatory school education in liberal arts at Webb from all over the world. With 10 Rhodes Scholars among its graduates and consistently high SAT scores, The Webb School has a reputation of being one of the top private schools in the nation. The school presently offers 23 Advanced Placement classes. Webb’s small school community comprised of an average enrollment of 320 day school and boarding school students and its emphasis on honor truly creates a Character of Home®. The 150-acre campus is located in a rural setting 50 miles southeast of Nashville. Approximately one-half of the school's high school student population is boarding students. At present, the school enrolls students from 15 U.S. states and 17 countries. The Middle School presently has 85 students in grades six through eight, and about 85% of them are day students.
