The Webb School Intern
The Webb School has an exciting opportunity for a young college graduate who is looking to get experience in the independent school world. Webb is currently seeking someone to fill an internship position. Our intern program helps our school in the areas of coaching, the residential program, as well as in the classroom. We seek:
- Coaches- Are you passionate about your sport? Do you want to share that passion with kids? We will give preference to coaches of volleyball and softball but are seeking assistant coaches in various other sports as well.
- Residential Staff- Our residential staff works closely with our boarding students in their time outside of the academic day. This is an opportunity to build healthy relationships with students and to act as a mentor to adolescents by modeling sound character.
- Teachers- This is a great opportunity to hone your skills as a teacher. You will co-teach with a veteran Webb teacher as well as teach one of your own classes. While our greatest need is in science, we will consider interns in other subject areas as well.
Housing will be provided and all utilities covered. In addition, as a residential staff member, our interns are welcome to eat three meals a day in the Follin Dining Hall when open.
