To honor those who make such commitments, The Webb School established The Burkhead Legacy Society, named in recognition of Commander Lingurn Burkhead (Class of 1921). His remarkable bequest of more than $1 million in 1993 made a tremendous impact on Webb’s growth and success. Today, alumni, parents, and friends who provide for Webb in their estate plans are welcomed into this society and celebrated for securing the School’s future.
