Baseball and Softball Fields
Our thriving baseball and softball programs are getting a cutting-edge hitting facility! This new addition includes multiple batting cages and pitching lanes for year-round training. Athletes will hone their skills, rain or shine!
But that’s not all. We’re also building a dedicated clubhouse with concessions, press box, restrooms, offices, and locker rooms. Spectators will enjoy a top-notch experience, and our athletes will have secure spaces to gear up for the game. We’re even including a golf simulator in this building to help our Webb golfers take the program to the next level!
Exciting upgrades like seating and safety improvements to our softball field, including a brick knee wall and a 30-foot high backstop, will enhance every game day for both players and spectators.
Lagler Field Stands
The current seating arrangements at Lagler Field are no longer adequate to accommodate the increasing number of spectators who come to support our teams. To provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our fans, we propose the installation of a new 1,000 seat stand at Lagler Field.
To achieve this, we are offering an opportunity to name the Lagler Field stand for a donor who wishes to leave a lasting legacy at The Webb School. The naming rights are available for a donation of $250,000.
New seating will not only enhance the viewing experience for parents, students, and visiting supporters but will also reflect the high standards of excellence for which The Webb School is known for. Modern, comfortable seating will encourage more attendance of our games and events, fostering a stronger sense of community and school spirit.
Expansion of Tennis Courts
As our school grows, so does the demand for top-tier athletic facilities. With tennis surging in popularity, we’re excited to announce the addition of eight new tennis courts!
Currently, our four courts are stretched thin between varsity, junior varsity, and recreational players, causing scheduling conflicts and limited practice time. Expanding to eight courts will solve these issues, allowing multiple groups to play simultaneously and enhancing our tennis program.
This expansion will also enable us to host larger tournaments, attracting schools from across the region and boosting our reputation as a premier institution. With proper lighting and spectator seating, we can offer extended play hours and a comfortable environment for fans, fostering a vibrant tennis culture at Webb.
