Webb’s Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball teams claimed TSSAA Division II-A District 3 Championship titles Saturday at Columbia Academy. The girls team defeated Middle Tennessee Christian School, 82-41, and the boys team beat Columbia Academy in overtime, 62-55, to advance to the Region Tournament.Tuesday, Feb. 14, it’s Webb Varsity Girls vs. Goodpasture at Webb at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, Webb Varsity Boys will face Friendship Christian School at Webb at 6 p.m.

At the district tournament, the girls Regular Season All-District Team included Angelica Velez, Bree Robinson, Rhema Collins, Aalyah Del Rosario and Bri 'Aria Cannon. The All-District Tournament Team included Angelica Velez, Bree Robinson and Aalyah Del Rosario, who was named Tournament MVP.

In the boys tournament, named to the Regular Season All-District Team were Stephen Olowoniyi, Taveon Comage and Arnett Hayes. The All-District Tournament Team included Jack Howard, Taveon Comage and Arnett Hayes, who was also named tournament MVP.
