Logan Lee has been named The Webb School’s next Head Baseball Coach for the 2026–27 academic year. A skilled pitcher during his collegiate career at West Point, Lee lettered in baseball for four years at Army and was one of the Patriot League’s top players during his final two seasons. As a junior in 2011, he led the team in strikeouts and innings pitched. The following season, he threw a no-hitter versus Bucknell, one of only five no-hitters in West Point baseball history. Lee was Second Team All-League as a senior and pitched in the NCAA tournament, where he held Oklahoma to just two hits and one run over seven innings in his only appearance as a starter.
"Logan Lee brings a great passion for the development of players at all levels, with a proven track record of success as a Division I athlete,” said Interim Director of Athletics James Garcia. “He is committed to developing the whole player, instilling character, discipline, and a love of competition. We look forward to seeing how he can continue to build on our baseball program’s strong traditions in the years ahead.”
A highly accomplished leader, educator, and mentor with more than a decade of experience in the U.S. Army, Lee brings a unique combination of discipline, teamwork, and instructional expertise to The Webb School coaching staff. Lee currently serves as a Squadron Executive Officer with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Irwin, Calif., where he oversees operations, logistics, and training for a 700-soldier unit supporting the National Training Center—the Army’s premier combat training environment.
Prior to his current assignment, Lee served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point. While there, he annually taught over 120 cadets across multiple disciplines and mentored student-athletes as the Officer Representative for the Army baseball team. His involvement with West Point baseball fostered a passion for coaching young athletes, with an emphasis on character, leadership, and performance under pressure.
Lee graduated from West Point with a B.S. in Geospatial Information Science. In addition, he holds two master’s degrees, one in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and another in Geography from the University of South Carolina.

Throughout my career as an Army officer, educator, and coach, I have been passionate about mentorship and growth in both the classroom and on the baseball field," said Lee.
