The Webb School is pleased to announce the appointment of Garrett King ’10 as Vice President and of Callie Kerbo Enea ’12, Eliza Claire Neese ’14, and Jeff Sims ’00 as new members of the Alumni Board. These new appointments were finalized this summer as part of the Alumni Board’s ongoing commitment to fostering strong connections across the School’s global alumni network.
“Please join me in welcoming these three outstanding new members,” said Alumni Board President Caroline Smith Pryor ’11. “I’m delighted that Callie, Eliza Claire, and Jeff have taken a hand in the game and accepted our invitation to serve. Each brings a unique perspective, a passion for our community, and a deep dedication to supporting our alma mater as we look to the future.”
Kristen Linton Alsup ’00, Associate Director of Alumni and Development, echoed the excitement surrounding these new appointments. “I am thrilled that Jeff, Eliza Claire, and Callie have stepped into these roles on the Alumni Board,” she said. “Having worked with all three of them as either their teacher or classmate, I know firsthand that they are incredible supporters of Webb and wonderful representations of The Webb School mission.”
Meet Our New Board Members
Callie Kerbo Enea ’12: A creative strategist and entrepreneur, Callie brings over a decade of experience in branding, marketing, and small business operations. She currently oversees brand and marketing strategy at Cedar Hill Homestead, a Tennessee-based herbal products company, and co-founded the Huntsville Food & Farm Hub. Through her consulting work with Cowork with Callie and her venture Honeycomb Labs, she empowers small businesses to build authentic brand voices and leverage innovative digital workflows. Callie and her husband, Chris, reside in Huntsville, Ala., and steward 22 acres called Mable & Jack Farmstead near the Tennessee-Alabama border, where they are actively regenerating the land.
Eliza Claire Neese ’14: A compassionate advocate in healthcare, Eliza Claire serves as a hospice liaison, guiding patients and their families through transitions to home hospice care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cumberland University in 2019 and remains deeply engaged in civic service, including roles on the Young Professionals Board of Project C.U.R.E. Nashville, the Junior League of Nashville, and as a Board of Directors intern for AgeWell Middle Tennessee. During her time at Webb, Eliza Claire developed a lifelong appreciation for the Honor Code, outdoor classes, and the Declamation tradition. She resides in Nashville, Tenn., with her dog, Clarence.
Jeff Sims ’00: Jeff holds a degree in Finance and Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. After a successful 20-year career as a chef, Jeff transitioned his analytical skills into finance and currently serves as a tax accountant at Blankenship CPA Group. His career evolution reflects a steadfast work ethic and a lifelong commitment to growth and learning. Outside of his professional endeavors, Jeff enjoys playing golf, reading, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and son.
Honoring Two Transitioning Leaders
In addition to welcoming three new voices, Webb extends its deepest gratitude and congratulations to Alexandra Bramblett Burlason ’94 and Katherine Foutch Layman ’03, P’32, who recently concluded their tenure on the Alumni Board to begin serving on the School’s Board of Trustees. “I am so grateful for Alex and Katherine’s leadership,” said Alsup. “While we will miss their presence on the Alumni Board, I am excited to see how they will continue to serve our alma mater in their new roles as Trustees.”
