The Webb School recently welcomed Nashville area alumni from the classes of 1972-1982 to a special gathering at the beautiful home of Jessica '82 and Lee Woosley '78. The evening was filled with food, fellowship, and an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, while also learning about the exciting developments at Webb.
Head of School Ken Cheeseman provided an engaging update on the successful opening of the school year, sharing insights into student life and the vibrant learning environment at Webb.
Board Vice-Chair Chase Spurlock '05 addressed the group, providing an update on the ongoing search for the next Head of School. He outlined the process and shared a tentative timeline for when the new Head of School will be announced.
Board Chair Farrar Vaughan '95 and Director of Alumni and Development Jonathon Hawkins also presented a visual overview of the school’s recent and future upgrades, which included significant renovations to residence halls, academic spaces, and athletic facilities. These enhancements are designed to enrich the student experience, make Webb more competitive in the boarding/day school market, and support Webb’s mission of academic and personal excellence.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for Webb alumni to reconnect with classmates and friends, while celebrating the school’s exciting future.
