Dara Frazier, Middle School Diversity Council president, provided quotes and facts as part of the program. A slideshow accompanied her comments. Myiah Brooks, Upper School Diversity Council creative designer, introduced Lexi Sullens '18 and Elsa Kunz, English and ethics teachers, respectively, to read their pieces on Martin Luther King, Jr.

Also, as part of the Black History Month observance. Bishop Curtis Jenkins '92 was a special chapel speaker on Feb. 23. He was accompanied to campus by his mother, Ora Jenkins.

A refreshments and Black History Movie Night event was planned in the Dorothy Elkins Student Center to complete the observance.
