Take the first step in your Webb journey

Affording Webb

Thanks to the generous support of alumni, families, and friends of The Webb School, over $3 million in financial aid and scholarships are awarded on an annual basis.  These are grant awards, meaning they do not need to be paid back to the school.

Financial aid applications have no bearing upon the Admissions Committee deliberation and assessment of a student’s potential as a Webb student. Decisions regarding admission to Webb and financial aid are made independently of one another.

Need-based Financial Aid

The Webb School recognizes that not all of the students interested in attending our school may be able to afford the full cost of a Webb education. The financial aid office is committed to attracting mission-appropriate students by helping to meet the financial need of the family.

Webb, like many independent schools around the country, uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. Our school code is 5058. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time.

The priority deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is January 1, 2025 for re-enrolling students and February 1, 2025 for new students.
