About Our Signature Programs

Enrollment in a Webb Signature Program is by application only. To be eligible, Upper School students must demonstrate:

●   Strong academic performance
●   Consistent integrity and positive decorum
●   Readiness for advanced coursework and responsibility

Distinction is awarded to students who fulfill the program’s multi-year coursework requirements beyond the School's standard college-preparatory curriculum, including completion of a college-ready portfolio or Capstone experience.

Webb’s signature Leadership Program provides Upper School students with specialized classes and mentorship necessary for developing leadership skills. Offering a challenging curriculum, the Program focuses on the key competencies essential for successful leadership across various fields.

LEARN TO LEAD

Participants in this Signature Program will not only receive a Distinction in Leadership designation on their high school transcript, but also emerge as skilled and confident leaders, prepared to make a positive impact in their future academic and professional endeavors. In addition, they will have developed a comprehensive portfolio showcasing their leadership journey, experiences, and accomplishments.

Upper School Courses at a Glance

9th Grade: Leadership Fundamentals

This course introduces students to the basics of leadership, including effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Mentorship Program
Freshmen will be paired with a coach or mentor, responsible for offering guidance, support, and insights and helping students navigate challenges and set goals throughout the first year of high school.

10th Grade: Ethical Leadership

In this course, students will delve into the principles of ethical leadership, exploring topics such as integrity, accountability, and social responsibility in decision-making processes.

Service-Learning Project
Sophomores will create, develop, and engage in a service-learning project that allows them to apply leadership concepts in a real-world setting while simultaneously fostering empathy and community engagement. Working closely with their assigned Faculty Advisor, students will be tasked with organizing and leading their peers through the service initiative.

11th Grade: Advanced Strategies

This course focuses on advanced leadership strategies, including leading through change, conflict resolution, and strategic planning for personal and group success.

Professional Mentorship Program
Juniors will be matched with professionals in their field of interest. Through mentorship, they’ll gain practical insights and establish professional connections to support their future endeavors.
