Webb continues the tradition of honoring Middle School students with Citizenship Awards.
"Today I have the honor of presenting our Middle School Citizenship award recipients for the month of August," announced Middle School Director Mallory Garcia. "These young people have upheld the mission and enduring understandings of The Webb School through their diligence, kindness, and compassion for others in our community."
The award certificates were presented in chapel to the following Webb students along with these remarks from Director Garcia:
Eleanor Loose is an excellent citizen all of the time. She is concerned about the feelings of others and does her best to be as kind and helpful as she can be. She is thoughtful and sincere in all that she does. She makes every class she is in a better place. Eleanor is a leader within her grade, being respectful to both her peers and her teachers, and always looking for ways to help others.
Ben Horwitz has come in as a new student and proven himself to be a kind, thoughtful and caring young man. He is eager to help his classmates and he is very thoughtful with his words and actions. Ben is a conscientious student with a keen sense of honor. He is a friend to everyone around him and walks into class every day with the brightest smile, a warm and inviting personality, and the desire to not only complete all of his work but also to keep growing and learning.
Corbin Lanning is a hard worker; he has high expectations of himself and a strong desire to learn and succeed in whatever he does, whether it's in class or sports. Corbin is very kind and is constantly thinking about others, trying to make others smile, and thinking about how he can help guide others academically.
