Alum Olly Wang ‘09, a member of the Webb Board of Trustees, recently visited campus, his first in four years, meeting with several groups, including students, faculty members and other trustees.

His day began by attending middle school chapel, followed by a special lunch with several Chinese students in the Alumni Center. He also met with Board of Trustee Member Jeff Howard, Associate Head of School Jim Callis, Assistant Head of School Dr. Tabetha Sullens ’94, and Dean of Students and Residential Life Jon Bloom.

One of the highlights of his visit was the presentation of the 2022 Hardin Service Award by Associate Director of Alumni and Development Jonathon Hawkins. Wang was unable to attend the October 2022 Alumni Reunion for the presentation.

Wang, who had not visited Webb since 2019, toured campus with Hawkins visiting Lagler Field, the Baseball Field, Lundin Fine Arts Center, Study Center located in the John Webb Library and Bond Library.

The day was capped with dinner in Nashville with Callis, Trustees, Lee Woosley '78, Chase Spurlock '05, and Webb Follin III '73, and Hawkins.
