Ken Gluck, State Education Coordinator for the Tennessee Holocaust Commission, was a chapel guest speaker in January. Gluck is also the son of a Holocaust Survivor. His father, Armin, was born in northeastern Hungary, and spent most of WWII in forced labor camps and later, Matthausen concentration camp.
According to the commission website, “In 1984, the Tennessee state legislature created the Tennessee Holocaust Commission by passing a bill with the purpose of educating others about and commemorating the Holocaust.”
Prior to his current position, Gluck taught middle school in Tennessee for 12 years.
