Presented from August through April, the Middle School Citizenship Award recognizes up to three students monthly who uphold The Webb School’s mission and Enduring Understandings by way of their actions toward the School community.
Congratulations to the students below, who were nominated by Webb faculty and staff for “always displaying the fine qualities of a Webb lady and gentleman."

Christian Baker ’30 is a quiet leader in the classroom and on the field or court, depending on the sports season! He works hard, holds himself to a high standard and doesn’t waver. Phoebe Lea ’32 is a leader who demonstrates great character, respect, and responsibility. She consistently shows kindness to her peers, has a positive attitude, and leads with integrity each day. She may be new to Webb, but she is already making a big impact in our School community.

Catherine Myers ’31 is one of the kindest and most thoughtful young ladies you will ever meet. She is mindful of the feelings of others and is supportive and helpful in and outside of class. She is dedicated and disciplined in whatever she attempts, always giving her very best. Catherine is curious about life and the world she is living in, and is constantly looking for ways to make it better. She has a desire to serve others and will work tirelessly in that pursuit. As a day student, she leads by example, supporting her peers with kindness, modeling integrity and always carrying herself with a warm, encouraging smile. She exemplifies what it means to be a Webb Lady: well-rounded, humble and hardworking, all while balancing her impressive academic success.

Atticus Loose ’32 has been helpful, curious and hard-working in his short time at Webb. He is a good friend to his peers and sets a good example for others in all that he does. We are excited to see what he accomplishes in his time at Webb.

Benjamin Horwitz ’30 is a kind and generous student who is always willing to serve and oftentimes seeks opportunities to do so. He regularly offers to help his teachers with classroom tasks and has been seen assisting several new students with getting accustomed to the daily “ins and outs” of being a Webb student. When asked to play a part in a special Chapel presentation, Ben enthusiastically agreed to serve in that role. Ben embodies the Webb Enduring Understanding of serving others.
