Presented from August through April, the Middle School Citizenship Award recognizes up to three students monthly who uphold The Webb School’s mission and Enduring Understandings by way of their actions toward the School community.

Willa Manske '30 has demonstrated incredible perseverance in navigating her first year at Webb. This quarter, she has shown what it truly means to be a resilient learner by transforming her habits and taking full ownership of her academic journey. I am so proud to celebrate her growth, her responsibility, and the fantastic momentum she has built as a valued member of our Webb community.

Olivia Michello '32 has been a great example of a Webb Lady all year. She is kind, thoughtful, and cares deeply about treating others well. She has had great success in all of her school activities. Olivia has definitely earned this recognition.

Heidi Neel '30 is truly an exceptional young lady who consistently embodies the ideals of a Webb lady in every way. She is someone you can always count on to do the right thing, no matter the situation. Heidi leads by example through her kindness, integrity, and strong work ethic, and her peers often look to her as a model for how they should act and carry themselves. She is always willing to help others, treats every person with respect and compassion, and works incredibly hard in each of her classes every day. Heidi's positive impact on our School community cannot be overstated.

Finn Evans '32 approaches school with a positive attitude, showing respect and consideration for others. He demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, taking pride in contributing positively to the classroom community. Finn serves as an excellent role model to his peers.

Rosemary Hanemann '31 is a wonderful young lady with a heart of gold. She is always thinking of others and checking on her friends and classmates. She is kind to everyone and is exceedingly empathetic and compassionate. She is a willing worker in school as well as outside in her community. You will always find Rosemary lending a helping hand or speaking kind words to someone.

Ava Baker '30 consistently embodies the values of Integrity and Heart. Whether she is the first to lend a helping hand without hesitation or simply offering a kind word to a peer, she is a pillar of respect and courtesy. What sets her apart is her remarkable moral courage; she has a profound sense of responsibility and chooses to do the right thing even when no one is watching. By treating her classmates, teachers, and school property with genuine compassion and empathy, Ava sets a stellar example for others. She leads not through loud words, but through a positive attitude and a daily commitment to being a person of character.

Cora Lea '30 is a deep thinker and creative problem-solver who brings fresh perspectives to her classes. She is also an excellent peer teacher, helping her classmates understand and guiding them along the way. In advisory, her kindness and caring nature shine through. She is always thinking of others and contributes to a warm, supportive community. Cora is a resilient young lady who cares deeply about the world she lives in. She is positive and encouraging and always looking for a way to make someone's day better.

Cadence Garcia '31 continues to shine on campus and in the classroom every single day. Not only does she go the extra mile on every assignment, but she also shows unyielding kindness to her classmates daily. A prime example of a Webb lady!

Tala Hasan '32 is truly a joy to have in class and the kind of student every teacher appreciates. She is kind, respectful, and thoughtful, genuinely caring about her classmates and always willing to lend a helping hand. Her curiosity, sincerity, and eagerness to learn make her a wonderful example of what a Webb scholar should be.

Ana Mitchell '32 brings positive energy and humor to each school meeting. She cares about helping other people and she generally makes the room she is in a better place.

Jimmy Phan '31 has a great sense of humor and always brings a positive attitude to the classroom. He is helpful around the classroom and is quick to lend a hand to both his teacher and classmates.

What sets Charlie Rodgers '31 apart is not just his 'A' average, but the character he displays while achieving it. He is consistently kind, approachable, and respectful to both faculty and students—always willing to give a helping hand. He does a great job balancing student-athlete responsibilities.

Charley Manske ’30 is a quiet and thoughtful student who brings a calm presence to the classroom. She is consistently kind and considerate. She always goes out of her way to help others whenever they need it.

During her first year at Webb, Kalista Demetre '30 has made significant progress in living up to our School's procedures and traditions. She is not only respectful and polite to peers and faculty, but also considerate of others, going out of her way to ensure their needs are met, and always ready to help in any way she can. She is also studious and takes pride in her work. She is an excellent example of what a Webb Lady should be.

Samantha Rogers '30 is an exceptional young woman who approaches her learning with sincerity and enthusiasm. She consistently seeks ways to support others and make them feel welcomed and valued. Her bright smile and positive presence enliven our campus, and she brings genuine warmth to every space she enters. Thoughtful, kind, and caring, Samantha demonstrates her character through the way she treats others each day. She is remarkably selfless, often noticing when someone needs a smile, a kind word, or simply a moment of encouragement—and she responds with compassion and grace.

Christian Baker ’30 is a quiet leader in the classroom and on the field or court, depending on the sports season! He works hard, holds himself to a high standard and doesn’t waver. He is kind and respectful to everyone he meets. Christian will always do the right thing. He is a great example of a Webb gentleman.

Phoebe Lea ’32 is a leader who demonstrates great character, respect, and responsibility. She consistently shows kindness to her peers, has a positive attitude, and leads with integrity each day. She may be new to Webb, but she is already making a big impact in our School community.

Catherine Myers ’31 is one of the kindest and most thoughtful young ladies you will ever meet. She is mindful of the feelings of others and is supportive and helpful in and outside of class. She is dedicated and disciplined in whatever she attempts, always giving her very best. Catherine is curious about life and the world she is living in, and is constantly looking for ways to make it better. She has a desire to serve others and will work tirelessly in that pursuit. Catherine, thank you for always giving it your all and for making the world we live in a little brighter!

KJ Moody ’31 is a shining example of the ideal Webb Student. She is an excellent communicator with both teachers and peers in class. We are appreciative, every day, of the positive influence and attitude that she carries with her.

Cora Tucker ’32 is the embodiment of quiet strength and grace. As a day student, she leads by example, supporting her peers with kindness, modeling integrity and always carrying herself with a warm, encouraging smile. She exemplifies what it means to be a Webb Lady: well-rounded, humble and hardworking, all while balancing her impressive academic success.

Atticus Loose ’32 has been helpful, curious and hard-working in his short time at Webb. He is a good friend to his peers and sets a good example for others in all that he does. We are excited to see what he accomplishes in his time at Webb.

Hailey Gay ’30 has such a warm and bubbly personality that makes her a friend to all. She consistently shows respect and kindness to classmates and teachers, creating a positive classroom environment. Hailey is a joy to be around, community-minded and dedicated to setting a strong example of what a Webb lady should be.

Benjamin Horwitz ’30 is a kind and generous student who is always willing to serve and oftentimes seeks opportunities to do so. He regularly offers to help his teachers with classroom tasks and has been seen assisting several new students with getting accustomed to the daily “ins and outs” of being a Webb student. When asked to play a part in a special Chapel presentation, Ben enthusiastically agreed to serve in that role. Ben embodies the Webb Enduring Understanding of serving others.

Lily Tennant ’30 exemplifies responsibility and integrity. She is devoted to holding herself to the highest standard both in the classroom and on the soccer field. She is consistently making choices that reflect strong character and a commitment to doing what is right. Through her honesty, cooperation and leadership, Lily demonstrates outstanding citizenship every day.
