Several of Webb’s Middle School scholars demonstrated their academic prowess in regional Science, History, and Geography Bees on January 31, 2026, against students from 10 schools throughout Middle Tennessee. The competition, hosted at The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tenn., and organized by the International Academic Competitions (IAC), challenged students in grades five through eight to showcase their knowledge and critical thinking skills.
The IAC oversees a broad portfolio of academic competitions across over 50 countries. In the United States, IAC runs annual events in science, history, and geography for middle and high school students, providing a structured pathway for talented young scholars to advance to national and international competitions.
This year, 20 Middle Schoolers represented Webb in the regional competition after earning outstanding performances on their pre-qualifying exams.
