Every month, three middle school students are chosen for Citizenship Awards. Award certificates are presented in chapel along with remarks read by Director Mallory Garcia.

The February award recipients are James Teeple, Charlie Rodgers, and Laine Lyles.

"From the moment he stepped onto campus, James Teeple has made every room and every endeavor he’s part of better, constantly seeking ways to improve himself and the environment around him," said Samantha Lange, learning services teacher. "His natural intellect and dedication to academics are truly impressive, but what sets him apart is his genuine care for those around him. He is a natural-born leader, and he’s always the first to offer a helping hand, whether to classmates or teachers. His selflessness speaks volumes about his character and the lasting impact he leaves on everyone he encounters," Lange continued.

"Charlie Rodgers is an all-around wonderful Webb gentleman," said Chilton Sweet, English language learner (ELL) teacher. "He is a diligent student and athlete who is always setting goals for himself and working hard to achieve them. He is also kind and supportive of his peers, and he encourages them to be the best they can be," Sweet continued.

"Laine Lyles exemplifies true citizenship through her exceptional leadership and willingness to collaborate," said Jill Gerber, English teacher. "She consistently steps up when challenges arise, demonstrating remarkable dependability and a fair-minded approach to every situation. What truly sets Laine apart is her kindness and patience with peers who need additional time to grasp concepts, showing her diplomatic nature and conscientious character. Her easygoing demeanor creates a welcoming environment for all, making her an outstanding recipient of this award," Gerber continued.
