Thirty-five students from The Webb School recently earned AP Scholar Awards from the College Board, which annually recognizes college-level academic achievement on multiple Advanced Placement exams.
Each fall, AP Scholar Awards are granted across three levels. To earn the most prestigious title, AP Scholar with Distinction, students must receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. The AP Scholar with Honor award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Finally, the AP Scholar ranking is awarded to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
