Position Summary:

The Director of Leadership Annual Giving manages a portfolio of 250-500 prospects and solicits gifts $1,000-$10,000 per year. In addition, this position manages solicitations for the entire group of Webb Fund donors who give more than $1,000 per year. It is a full-time, calendar year position. The position involves all aspects of external relations, including face-to-face fundraising. This position is salaried, and compensation is based on experience and qualifications of the candidate. Specific duties and responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of donors, reaching individual goals for dollars, visits and donors to The Webb Fund

Develop annual travel calendar to complete 150 face-to-face solicitations of individuals annually

Identify, solicit, and manage portfolio prospects individually

Ensure 100% of all assigned leadership annual donors are solicited individually

Travel to cities across the country to meet with donors face-to-face

Develop long-term strategy to identify major gift and planned gift donors through personal visits

Track fundraising results using Raiser’s Edge database

Serve as key liaison for external relations, and create opportunities for involvement and engagement

Regularly attend events to get to know alumni, parents, and friends of the school

Work with other fundraisers in the A&D Office to coordinate fundraising trips

Provide input and write copy for occasional news stories for website and school magazine

Work a flexible schedule (weekend and nights as needed) and perform other duties as identified by the Head of School or the Director of Alumni and Development

Qualifications and skills

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

3 years fundraising experience, or related experiences

Strong organizational, interpersonal, computer, and writing skills

Familiarity with, and appreciation for the mission and culture of an independent school

Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed without constant supervision

Able to carry out written or oral instruction and handle and resolve recurring problems

Position Summary:

The Webb School seeks to hire a part-time employee to work 150-250 hours to help organize the annual Belles and Buckles gala held February 2, 2018. The Belles and Buckles Gala is Webb's largest annual fundraising event. Last year, it was held in Murfreesboro and was attended by approximately 250 people who donated more than $100,000 in sponsorships, auction items, and tickets purchases. The net proceeds, approximately $80,000 were donated back to the school, primarily for faculty and staff compensation bonuses. This role is hourly, with most of the hours between December, January, and February.
