A Blog from the Head of School

The Webb School is truly a special place. The oldest continuously operating boarding/day school in the South (Founded 1870), Webb has a rich history of educating young people to become intelligent, moral and responsible citizens. As a boarding school, Webb offers elements that you simply cannot find at just any private school. A small community by design devoted to education, the reinforcement of positive values, academic engagement that extends far beyond the classroom, active participation in athletics, the arts, and a multitude of clubs - this is all part of life at Webb. More importantly, Webb students are surrounded by faculty who are devoted to their growth and future success.

The blogs posted here are meant to give you an inside view of The Webb School, and to provide you with valuable information about opportunities and events available to our students in real time - throughout the school year. In fact, these blog entries are derived from actual communications sent to current parents of Webb students.

Thank you for your interest in The Webb School!
