Airline Policies for
Unaccompanied Minors
The following information covers the policies for different airlines for unaccompanied minors. Please understand that this is the most recent information that we have and that policies may change without our knowledge.

American Airlines:
- Fourteen years of age and under must pay unaccompanied minor fee of $60.00 each way.
- Person dropping off minor needs to take minor to American counter and fill out paperwork detailing who is picking up minor. They will need name, phone number, address of person picking up (which the student should be able to provide). Only the person listed on this paperwork will be allowed to pick up minor.
- Person dropping off minor needs government issued photo ID.
- Person dropping off minor must be at least 15 year of age.
- If minor is actually traveling with another person 15 years of age or older, no unaccompanied minor fee is required.

**We need to make sure parents/guardians know who to list as pick-up person in Nashville in order for us to be allowed to leave with the minor students. Perhaps we need some form of Webb School Employee ID.
