Webb Honors Its Employees

At the annual Trustee and Faculty Opening of School Dinner, The Webb School Chairman of the Board, Mr. Phillip G. Coop ’62, a native of Bell Buckle, congratulated ten faculty and staff for years of service and dedication. This year’s honorees recognized for special anniversaries include: Sage Dining’s Bobby Chambers of Bell Buckle had the evening’s distinction of being honored for his 35 years at The Webb School; Renowned history teacher and Honor Council sponsor L.R. Smith of Bell Buckle was recognized for his 30 years; The Webb School would also like to extend its gratitude to Library Assistant Ann Chandler of Bell Buckle for her five years of service; Sage Dining’s Shirley Allen and Anna Willis of Shelbyville and Bell Buckle, respectively, and Dean of Faculty and Math teacher, Kay Young of Shelbyville, for 10 years of service; Academic Secretary and School Registrar, Pat Smith of Bell Buckle, for fifteen years of service; Sage Dining’s Marie Creson of Bell Buckle, History Department Chair Ralph Jones of Murfreesboro, and French teacher, Moira Smith of Bell Buckle, for twenty years of service. Each individual has played a large part in making The Webb School one of the finest preparatory institutions in the Southeast.
