Eighth grade boys’ basketball players attend camp

Eight middle school boys’ basketball players didn't get much of a summer break as they traveled down the road to participate in the Community Middle School basketball camp last week. Wes Watson, Jack North, Tripp Mifflin, John Cardosi, Ethan Dolan, Anderson Keathley, Gregory Kilpatrick and Henry Martin played six games in two days trying to prepare for the upcoming season this winter.
"We played a lot of basketball in a short period of time. I was pleased with how well we competed despite not having a lot of practice time together," said Coach James Garcia. Coach Garcia also wanted to thank Coach Luke Baum for putting in some extra time working with the team. Garcia and and Baum, right, are pictured with the players.
