Masundire recognized at Vanderbilt for Duke TIP program

Alyss Masundire, Murfreesboro seventh grader, was recognized on May 17 at Vanderbilt University for her performance on the ACT in the DUKE University Talent Identification Program for academically talented students.

She took the ACT last year and, as a result of her scores, was invited to participate in a Tennessee State Recognition ceremony at Vanderbilt University at Langford Auditorium. It recognized seventh grade students who were invited to participate in Duke TIP in the state of Tennessee.

A medal with a gold and black ribbon was given in honor of her participation in the Vanderbilt recognition ceremony. The medal with the burgundy ribbon was in honor of her participation in the Duke University TIP program.
