"Alice in Wonderland" is spring production

The Webb School Players will present Charlotte Chorpenning’s adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland” at 7:30 p.m., April 12-14, on the chapel stage. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door. Children under 10 will be admitted free.
“This version, for audiences from the very young to the very wise, features students from the seventh through the 12th grade in a colorful display on stage and in costume,” said Ruth Cordell, Webb theatre program and production director.
The production will feature Scout Turner, Murfreesboro, as Alice. Other cast members and their roles are Adam Mansell, Livingston, White Rabbit; faculty member Raymond Pryor, Wartrace, Caterpillar; Maya Porter, Bell Buckle, Duchess; Laura Huber, Huntsville, Ala., Cook; Izem Ustun, Istanbul, Turkey, Frog Footman; Coleman Walker, Bell Buckle, March Hare; Ryan Pryor, Wartrace, Mad Hatter; Sarada Kolli, Murfreesboro, Dormouse; Jenna Davis, Tullahoma, Mock Turtle; Sarah Beth Menck, Nashville, Gryphon and understudy to Alice; Elli Boyle, Shelbyville, TweedleDum; Kat Coffey, Petersburg, TweedleDee; Gray Anderson, Bell Buckle, King of Hearts; Jhansi Kolli, Murfreesboro, Knave of Hearts; Callie Kerbo, Murfreesboro, Red Queen; and Jami Averwater, Eagleville, White Queen. Ashton Bellenfant, Shelbyville; Marina Kiser, Christiana; Shanna McMahon, Morrison; Haley St. John, Manchester; and Emily Phillips, McMinnville; make up the Corps De Flamingo. Music will be provided by Webb students and faculty. Abby Ramey, Hohenwald, is stage director, and Ralph Jones is technical director of school productions.
Life-size props from this production will be on sale after April 14.
There is no charge for Webb students and faculty/staff. Donations will be accepted.
