Michele Daniel ’85, Webb’s school counselor, recently attended the Innovative Schools Summit 2017 in Orlando, Fla., which featured multiple conferences. Included were the Counseling Strategies and Resources Conference, National Conference on School Discipline, Girl Bullying and Empowerment National Conference and the TrendingSC Forum. Daniel, left, is pictured with Kaye Randall at one of the conferences. Randall is a social worker, adolescent clinician, professional trainer and educational speaker. She presented a program for schools to promote a positive school climate -- How Can You Be the Difference – that encourages students and staff to make a positive change in one person’s life each day. Daniel plans to pursue how to implement this program at Webb.
