Smithson announces his college choice

Senior Jake Smithson announced in the March 17 chapel that he will attend Tulane University. He celebrated by ringing the bell that once stood at the original school in Culleoka, Tenn., where Sawney Webb and brother, John Webb, began their classes.

Three more seniors make college choice announcements

Three seniors in the Class of 2017 have made final decisions about where they will attend college. The announcements were made in chapel on Jan. 13. They joined Austin Cooper, who made his announcement on Dec. 2. Betsy Little and Katherine McMahan will attend Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma. Will Spalding will attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. They celebrated by ringing the bell that once stood at the original school in Culleoka, Tenn., where Sawney Webb and brother, John Webb, began their classes.

Austin Cooper is the first senior in the Class of 2017 who has made a final decision about where he will attend college. He will attend Birmingham-Southern College. A special announcement about his decision was made in chapel on Dec. 2. He celebrated by ringing the bell that once stood at the original school in Culleoka, Tenn., where Sawney Webb and brother, John Webb, began their classes.
