Since its founding in 1870, The Webb School
has been molding a set of traditions which make it cherished by
alumni and respected by all. It is these traditions, linked with
tireless effort and interest that have made Webb the place it is
today. Webb itself has become a tradition, made so by the
students that have attended and contributed their part towards
advancement, and the constituents that continually support its
future with the commitment of their financial resources and
time.
Gifts to The Webb School play a key role in
providing funds to enhance the school’s resources, provide
students with exceptional opportunities to learn, and ensure the
school’s commitment to developing the intellectual, physical and
moral potential of its students.
We are embarking on exciting times at the Webb
School as we move into our third year under the leadership of
Head of School, Albert R. Cauz. Each year presents itself with
new and exciting changes, which will help us define the future
of Webb. It is up to each of us to decide how we will meet these
challenges, and what our role will be in ensuring the future of
The Webb School.
Sawney Webb once challenged his young men to
hold true to four imperatives. “Don’t be a baby, don’t be a me
too, do nothing on the sly, and beware of the ropers.” All four
of these lessons hold true today, and are engrained in
everything we do at Webb.
With your help, we can continue to “Create a
Legacy of Giving” that will allow us to continue to provide
educational excellence for generations.
Through your financial support, we can nurture
the minds, characters and integrity of young people in order to
prepare them to lead us into the next generation. Please take
time to think about how you can help Webb. Every gift will make
a difference in the life of a young man or young lady here at
this wonderful institution. By taking time to give of your
financial resources, you are saying yes to the future of our
youth!
