To offset the cost of your child's education, Webb is committed
to providing financial aid based on a family’s need.
Webb will award over $900,000 in financial assistance for
the 2008-09 school year to about 40% of our student body.
The money awarded each year is a grant provided by Webb's
endowment and various gifts to the school.
Applying for financial aid is easier than it sounds. The application for financial
aid has no bearing on admission to Webb. Students are accepted into Webb based
on academic performance, personal qualities and standardized test scores. The
process of determining admission and financial aid are separate.
Just take the following steps and we will take care of the rest:
- Contact the admission office for the required form. School and Student Services
for Financial Aid provides the form that you will be receiving. These forms
are commonly referred to as the SSS forms.
- Complete the Parents' Financial Statement that is found in the SSS forms
and make two copies. We suggest that you keep these copies for your files
at home in case something happens to the original!
- Mail the completed Parents' Financial Statement form and
a check for $20.00 payable to School and Student Service
for Finical aid to:

- Send the following forms to The Webb School:
- One of the duplicate copies of Parents' Financial Statement
- Duplicate copy of your 1040 Income Tax Return

All of the above information is kept confidential and must be on file before
our office can consider a financial award. In no case will a child be denied
admission to the school because of implied, inferred or demonstrated financial
need. Financial aid forms must be re-submitted each year. Webb School will reevaluate
financial need on an annual basis. If you need assistance with your forms please

Legacy Scholarship
Webb offers a Legacy Scholarship for its boarding population
in the amounts of $5,000 and $10,000. This scholarship is
made possible by the endowment and gifts to the program. To
qualify for the scholarship a parent, grandparent, great-grandparent,
aunt, or uncle of yours must have graduated from Webb and
each student is required to write an essay. To request a Legacy

Loan Information
A number of third-party lenders offer longer-term educational
loans at attractive rates. Key Education Resources and PrepGATE
offer loan plans payable over 10 years. For more information,
